Kiley (Queen Bee) spent nearly a decade as a 911 dispatcher before swapping emergency calls for cookie dough and sourdough starters. She’s a self-taught baker with a knack for crusty loaves, chewy cookies, and baked goods that somehow taste like comfort and sarcasm at the same time.
Outside the kitchen, she’s a proud farmtographer, known to chase goats for the perfect photo, and a garden enthusiast who talks to her plants like they’re coworkers. She lives with four beloved cats, though if zoning laws and common sense didn’t exist, she’d have at least 100.
She’s the funniest person you’ll ever meet, the world’s coolest aunt, and the creative force behind everything we bake. If your sourdough has a little extra personality, now you know why.
At The Giving Treat, you’ll find classic, comfort-driven baked goods made with old-fashioned care and a modern sense of flavor. Our style leans rustic and simple, think golden-crusted sourdough, gooey cookies, buttery rolls, and seasonal treats made from scratch. No shortcuts, no preservatives, just honest ingredients and a little love.
Everything is baked in small batches right here in a home kitchen, with each item prepped, proofed, and packaged by hand. There’s no storefront, no counter service, just a cozy front porch where you swing by, grab your order, and (ideally) try not to eat everything in the car.
This isn’t fast food. It’s slow, thoughtful baking made to feel like a gift every time. And honestly? It kind of is.
Stock photo, not our kitchen, no idea who's hands those are!
